Triana is the place to head for as people remember the orgional settlers. The idea is to dress in traditional colonial costume - Women in white dresses or linen, with lace, vintage brimmed hats , gloves , white umbrellas. The gentleman in white trousers, shirts and wastecoat with white brimmed hats, maybe a scarf round the neck. Everyone also carries a bottle of talc and sprays people as they pass by (not sure why...)

Afterwards over the other side of town near Parque Santa Catlina (where the first part of the Drag Queen show took place) there's all night dancing and music in the streets until the early hours and although tomorrow is Tuesday, it's declared a carnival holiday and everyone has the day off
