Gran Canaria Airport Transfers with Magar

Have a driver / rep waiting for you inside the airport to greet you as you arrive then take you to a private car waiting close by. Not only will you arrive at the resort in more confort and less time but also for a  lower price than most of our competitors. On Gran Canaria our service is often lower than the public taxi service and is usually by luxury saloon car (as shown above) and on Tenerife by minibus so always plenty of space. We also offer a cheaper shared transfer service on Tenerife.

How it Works

If there's a delay to your flight, the driver will wait/arrive accordingly at no extra charge. Upon departure from your apartment, the driver will come to meet you by reception three hours before your flight departs (unless you prefer/request otherwise) and take you to the departures level of the airport. You'll be sent a detailed confirmation voucher which also explains how everything works when you arrive, along with a contact telephone numbers. The prices wll be quoted there also and are guaranteed.

Once you submit a booking with 24 hours notice or more, you receive an instant confirmation. Bookings of less than 24 hours notice can be made on request.

On Gran Canaria our private services for 1 to 4 people are by luxury saloon cars, Mercedes E and S class and BMW 5 and 7 series OR SIMILAR. On Tenerife all of our private services are by minibus offering extra space for luggage such as golf clubs at no additional charge.

How much does it cost / what are your prices?

If you go to the booking form it explains how to use the form to "see the price" of your transfer without submitting a booking. You can calculate prices of transfers from 1 to 25 people.

Additionally to the right of this page we have also listed the prices. In each destination box there are buttons at the bottom to change the size of vehicle.
 

We are 4 people with large cases and/or lots of luggage ...?

Although our saloon cars will seat 4 people comfortably, the boot only has space for 4 medium-sized suitcases. If you are 4 people or less and have 4 extra large cases or golf clubs then you´ll need to book a larger vehicle, an "estate" perhaps or a minibus, something with space for 5 cases or more.

If you are travelling with a bike box / bike bag, surf board or other large item then contact us first to check what size of vehicle to book.

 

How does the shuttle / shared service work? (Shuttle services/rates currently available for Tenerife only)

On arrival in the airport you may have to wait up to 45 minutes though often far less for everyone else from your flight/other flights to come out with their luggage before leaving. There's a maximum 7 stops before you (maybe none, maybe you're the first!?) The bus will leave you at your hotel or apartment complex. For the trip back to the airport the bus will collect you at your hotel and get you to the airport 2 hour or more before your flight departs, plenty of time for check-in.

 

How much notice do you need for all services?

24 hours or more notice is enough to guarantee the service, a driver is always available if we have 24 hours notice. We can however take enquiries up to 4 hours before the car is required; we just need to make sure a driver is available first.

 

How / when do we pay?

Pay direct to your driver once you arrive in the resort. If you prefer you can also prepay with a credit card.

 

Can I book a return transfer too? Is there a discount for booking 2 ways?

Yes you can book a return service - confirm that now when you book your arrival. There' s no discount unfortunately for booking a 2 ways.

 

We're a small/large group or a big family, can we travel together?

Yes, as well as saloon cars there are small and large coaches so groups of up to 54 people can book to travel together in one vehicle.

 

Do you have child seats?

For Gran Canaria only - Yes, infant, baby and booster seats are €3 extra per journey.

 

Do you have vehicles adapted for travellers with disabilities?

Yes, we have minibuses with ramps and electronic lifts. You can remain in the wheelchair throughout the journey with us thanks to special ramps, lifts and attachments inside the bus which we use to fix the chair or scooter in place.
