Every two weeks we have a "farmers market" here in San Fernando. Local farmers bring their freshest produce down for sale. All the local grown fruit and vegetables around the island you'll find on the market along with a few other products such as preserves, bread, cakes, cheeses ... I even had a fresh Mojito last week!

Most of what I buy there actually lasts the two weeks! Where as items I get from the supermarket go bad after 3 or 4 days, what I buy on the market lasts and lasts and for supermarket prices!
