What I would call the "fish festival" in the town of Arrinaga on the east coast of the island. One of the larger festivals taking place throughout the year and nice as it takes place by and on the beach. Dress either in swimwear or with a white t-shirt.

For the early part of the day as people arrive everyone is on the sea-front or on the beach soaking up the sun, swimming .....

At dusk a procession starts along the seafront where the local catch is taken from one side of the town to ther other, fish being cooked on floats and handed out for free en-route.

Marching bands, plenty of partying into the night ....
