One of the largest carnivals in the world is fast approaching. "Flower Power" is this year's theme so expect lots of 70s costumes, platform shoes have always been a thing here when dressing up. The main parade attracts around a half a million visitors and during the three weeks of celebrations most weekends attract 100,000 with Parque Santa Catalina hosting the various shows and competitions. Chek our carnival section for more details.
