Artesian market selling a lot of traditional produce, stalls selling clothes, household items, the usual touristy stalls but probably one of the better markets on the island if you want to see something local.

Teror the town itself is a spectacular place to visit, especially the church on a Sunday with its services.

You can catch an excursion up there which spends half the morning here and the other half in the nearby San Mateo market. Driving of course is an option (motorway about 85% of the way with the last part windy roads) otherwise catch the express bus service to San Telmo station in Las Palmas and change for the Teror service there.
