A pilgrimage in honour of one of the better known Saints (thanks to the festivities that happen next week at night on the beaches around the island) - San Juan.

Carts are drawn through the town laden with food as an offering, starting from the area of San Gregorio at around 19:00 and ending at Plaza de San Juan (of course!). 

As well as the spectacular horse or oxen drawn carts laden with food, expect traditional music and dancing, traditional foods served on the street.
