Best Place to stay for singles

Hi folks, I'm hoping to head out to PR end of Aug or start of Sept. Looking for best place to stay, somewhere away from CC would be preferred. I'm travelling alone and want to stay someplace that is close to beach, shops etc. It's my first venture solo and want to feel safe and at ease. Any suggestions on best places to stay would be appreciated. Will be booking direct if possible as finding it hard to book flight and acc with travel agent. thanks in advance for any help you can give.

could'nt but reccomend the Morasol.......

ideal for a single person to feel safe and relax.........about 700 yds to cc and 200 to beach......
