San Agustin beach to loose it's Blue Flag

As from today, the mayor has decided to remove the blue flag from San Agustin beach.

It has been a voluntary decision and not forced upon them, they believe it's the best thing to offer whilst works are being carried out in the area to improve the facilities even more.

As from today, the flag goes and work starts to repair parts of the beach deemed problematic (such as a big hole under the red-cross), improve the walkway along and onto the beach itself, add more showers, benches and rest areas and create better lighting around the area by night.

I can't see when the proposed works are due to be finished though having to loose the flag, I can't imagine it taking too long.

Do you know how San Agustin is looking at the moment? We go every April and came over in October too and they'd filled in the underpass, didn't get too look at the beach though
