Hi!
I need help. I need someone to answer me a question in the end of this text.

I am student and looking for the 1-3 months season job somewhere in Canary Islands (the middle of January-the end of March).
Reason: I don't like the winter time in my country now:)
What I want to do: I don't mind so much... the usual things young summer workers do.

The question is: Do you think I can just arrive for example to Gran Canaria and find a job there? Is it usual for the hotels for example to employ students for summer jobs as it is usual in holiday places all around the world?

Thanx for the advice!
Maar

usually we advise people to come over on a 2 week holiday and knock on doors whilst your are here. You can then forfeit your flight home if you find a job and if you dont find one, then you can get home ok.
There are many scandinavians around at the mo' and you may be lucky to get a job

Thank You very much,
that's probably the way.
I just wanted to know if there are people like me going to Canary with the same idea, because I've been to many countries (workin'n'trawellin) and I knew something about season job conditions there before, but I can find no way to gain informations about working in Canary... No friend's experiences, no web pages with informations.. Canary is like fairyland for me:)

But I'll probably try my luck cause I'm freezing in my home:)

Ok, You mean they are workin' there? I doubt:) They rather let their bodies be wormed a little bit am I right?:)
