But as i said on another thread i think its great news that they are not allowing any building here, so at least there will be some unspoilt coastline !! :nodding:

Just to let you all know - Bar Pio Pio has been shut for the last 2 weeks. They finally got permission to do up the bar and the access road.
We went on Saturday for lunch. It was their first day open since the refurb. All looking very good
Food plentiful and excellent - really good tapas, run by brits.
If you can, give it a visit - its behind the Guantanamo restaurant and well worth it. Live music, I believe on a Sunday and a lovely spot to watch the sunset

Morcilla is black pudding
Morcilla dulce is sweet black pudding - where the fat is normally in the black pudding, there are almonds
White pudding - dont know, but all the staff are english in Bar Pio Pio and so they should be able to advise.
Taxi - cant help you there.

It's morcilla blanca, morcilla negra being the black. You might even be lucky and get a bit of cabbage thrown in too, Rab ;)

Hey Rab,
Not long to go now, I'm up for a Sunday afternoon/eve over at bar Pio Pio, perhaps we'll follow up the forum bash. Always up for a plate of mixed tapas too. I've tried several Canarian black puddings but not the white. Albodingas are a favourite of mine also as are the local sausages.
With my diet for hols now over I can't wait to get stuck into the Canarian cuisine !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
