Hi all. Gr8 site and a fantastic service the regulars provide.
My wife and I booked a last minute AI deal to Maspalomas for next week, and have since found out the place we booked isnt up to much. :banghead: Consequently we are expecting to have to spend more money on meals than we had planned so have decided to save a bit by getting a bus from the airport to the hotel instead of a taxi, saving about £25 each way. I was just wondering if anyone could tell me if the bus stop is easy to find once we come out of the airport (and, if anyone knows, how regular they are likely 2 b on that route around the middle of the day)?
Many thanx
Nick

I think the bus is a ten minute walk when you leave the airport.I have just paid 40 euros for two of us return for next week using the taxi advertised on this site.Have used it before.Good luck.

follow this link to the globalsu bus company website - The number 66 goes from the airport to the lighthouse at masplomas - Looking at the timetable its an hourly service at 20 past the hour - I think the bus stop is on the airport itself. If you put in the stop on the motorway (cruce autopista) there seems to be another 4 or 5 - 44, 30, 4 and 1 ( the 5 bus seems to be a night bus). That stop is by the motorway and youve got to go up a path under the road to climb up to it. Its about a 10 minute walk.
Not sure what the walk is like from the lighthouse to where you are staying - fares each way are showing as 4.35 each (each way).
Also when you come out of arrivals to the right is a Global help desk. They are really good and have a big sheet with all the timetables on them - really useful.

Best of luck.

Click onto the G. Canaria home pages on this site.( Top of this page). This will give you a guide to the bus services to and from the airport. There are bus stops located outside the arrivals gate (to the right as you leave the terminal building) as well as a short walk away over to the G.C.1 motorway. Use the airport/flights guide as well as the bus service one !!

I remember getting off the bus at the airport once and thinking i'm glad i had no luggage with me. I had to hop over a small railing and walk along the grass. You may consider Owens Shared Shuttle Transfer via this website.Only about £10( for the both of you,not each) to Maspalomas . You could always get the bus back to the airport when you're familiar with the service and times from your base.Good luck

That may have been my fault.I stated the price as about £10 not 10 Euros. By the currency converter website www.XE.com (http://www.XE.com) 15 Euros = £10.35
