Monaco Apartments

me, Mrs Trot and the mini Trots are coming out to PR in August to stay at our timeshare.:banana:
Some friends of ours have booked to stay at the Monaco apartments the same weeks we are there.
What are the Monaco apartments like. I have seen them from the road when we have walked past but have read some reviews on other websites but they get a mixed review.
Any advice??

are these the monaco bungalows?i was going to stay there but some pr friends of mine say there are a easy target for burgalars, but saying that there is uk tour operators that have them in there brochures so they might be okay.

hi eleven of us stayed at the monaco apts [3 apts] july/august 05 they are basic but clean plenty room inside ours were all on bottom row looking across to the commercial centre we had no complaints and heard of no break- ins or any other trouble i also read other reports but chose to ignore them we are going bk in 7wks to the monaco again only two of us this time in two bed apt 1 week this will be our 4th time to pr love it...

The Monaco apartments are centraly located and are very basic! They were at one time(about 5 years ago)the no1 in Puerto Rico for "break ins" but as "most" of the theives are "behind bars" at the moment the crime is quite low.The safes are in reception,i would recommend renting a safe.
good basic apartments.
