Hi there everyone!!
I wonder if anyone knows anything about the Bora Bora apartments just behind the Maracaibo, my parents are going to be staying here in May and I can't find any information about them anywhere!!
Any information would be welcome...

Hi yxes,
Bora Bora are a small block of 8 x one bedroomed appartments. I met some people last year who were staying there and they said they were lovely, and had just been fully refurbished (May 2005). Full details of them with pictures can be found on the Oasis Travel web-site. Ignore the list and type bora bora into the search box on the hotels/appartments descriptions page!!!

Thanks Big Tony
That is a real reasurrance to know that they are nice apartments, I will tell my parents. We have stayed actually at the Maracaibo before but can't recall anything of the Bora Bora (I have been scanning my old holiday snaps for them, but with no luck!!). My partner daugher and I are staying at the Canaima as we do twice a year!!
thanks again

Ive booked a stay here in March via the holidaylettings website. I have seen a couple of old reviews which were good but cant find anything recent. Liked the fact that there are only 8 apartments in the block and not much of a climb back at night.

Bora Bora is a nice choice of acomodation, it was fully re-furbished last May(2005) although I have'nt stayed there I've had a walk through there. With only 8 apartments it has a more private feel to the place and is in an excellent location, not to far up on the sunny side of the valley. You'll get the sun from first thing in the morning until late afternoon.here's a site to look at:-www.holidaylettings.co.uk/rentals/puertorico/12390.
whoops sorry just noticed that you'de booked with this company.

Does anyone know if there are safes in the room, the agent says there are, but all the different sites that let these apartments do not advertise a safe.
