Tamaragua Tours who ran most of the islands excursions for travel agencies, hotels and basically everyone apart from the tour operators are no more.
A new company has taken on the task and rather than offering 50 plus tours, several being quite similar - they have about ten very different tours to offer with some welcomed new ideas such as Guayadeque Caves and the markets up at Teror and San Mateo.
Previously, an island tour with Tamaragua would have set you back 50 euros per person with a very basic lunch included. The new price is 29 euros without lunch though there is free time on the full-day tours to have lunch and chose from a menu for around 10 euros for 2/3 courses so - 20% cheaper prices with much nicer food.
