my favourite by far is, of course, extreemz. followed by...yates and tavern. when im out in g c i like to go places where there's lots of games and drunken antics going on and the dj's get everyone involved. these three bars in the europa centre do just that and i make a bee line for them as soon as i get off the plane!!:boozy:

on pr tonight photos taken there, think it was on 5/2

We were all in ther on the 5th Feb. That was our last night. You probably heard us we were the rowdy lot up near Willie. Photos on P.R Tonnight and Rabs site.

Only see one mention of Turbo on this thread. We've had some great nights in there in the past although last year in April we didn't go in as it was totally empty every time we passed. What's gone wrong?

Also, who's singing in Flanagan's Apple these days - can't remember the guy who was there last year but he was brilliant - if someone mentions his name it might jog my memory.

no, it wasn't John and Bobby, it was just one guy (big guy with a ponytail) who did all the typical irish folksy numbers that we all knew - he was excellent so I'm hoping he's still there

Aye, we were the noisy mob. Going back in June but only me hubby and daughter, bit of a quieter affair. Willie from Picadillys will be pleased about that. Think we were a bit much for him in Jan/Feb.

Hey Stumpy,
Make sure you pop around to Playa del Cura to have a pint one evening with Ben & Kerry at the Fleur de Lys. They're both from your neck of the woods, it's just a short 4 euro cab ride away. Ellis has taught them the ex-pat Welsh way to survive over there so pop in and support them. We'll be over on 1st May, so the more the merrier !!
