We have booked to stay at the Parque Albatros, Golf del Sur, in february next year and would like to visit the naturist beach at Playa de la Tejita. I have tried to work out which bus we would need to catch to the beach but it seems unclear. Can anyone help with this and also advise the journey time. Thanks Steve

we stayed in the Parque Albatros in July this year. Dont know about the naturist beach but can tell you about the hotel.
Hotel was full when we were there and if you didnt go early to the pool, you wouldnt get a space.
We stayed in a private 2 bed apartment which was lovely. very quiet with a big balcony
Not much nearby in walking distance. The odd supermarket selling very expensive stuff and the odd cafe. We would drive each night to Las galletas, Los Abrigos or El medano for restaurants etc.
Loved our hols but found Golf de Sur very very quiet and were glad we had a car

Hi mary
thanks for the info on the area around the hotel, we have researched it and are aware that there is not a lot in the vicinity, did you use the hotels restaurants/bars ?
cheers

didnt use the Albatros facilites although the pool bar did look nice.
Almost next door was another restaurant that you needed a guide to get to - nice spot by a bowling green but food not good.
Just down the road was a steak house, supermarket and spanish tapas type bar. Tapas bar looked nice but hubby wouldnt go in - he preferred a view of something nice, rather than a view of a fenced off area.
We would be out and about all day and grab something on the way home.

Just back from a week in El Medano and used the Playa Tejita beach most days for an early morning swim and again in the evening. If is still naturist friendly but some days the amount of naturists could be counted on the fingers of one hand. The most I saw was about 10 last Saturday evening and all but one of those was male.
A lot of Spanish families with kids use it so I could see that putting off some naturists. We had a car so couldn't advise on bus times or costs.
