Fireworks factory exploded in Teror

This afternoon a Fireworks factory exploded just down the road from where we live. It sounded as if an Bomb had gone off and all the houses shook to the grounds. We all thought a bomb had exploded. Since about an hour they are busy dousing the fires with Helicopters. I am just hoping noone was in the factory at the time.

The papers now say there are 2 deaths up to now.

seems it was a man in his 70s and his son that died they were preparing fireworks for a local fiesta. a third person escaped more or less uninjured.

The ownér and his son died in the explosion and the nephew was rushed into Hospital. He escaped death becaue he was in the Office at the time of explosion. The cause for the disaster is not yet known. The Firm (which was the largest on the island) has been making Fireworks for many years and have just recently had and passed a safety check.
