Am returning to PR on 27th March for 2 weeks - can't wait.
Missed coming over last year and wondered what changes have occurred. Are Valentino's and Biblos still in the Europa Center?
Is there any major building work going on especially down at the Amadores beach area?
Grateful for any info you can give.

Glad to say that most of the building work now seems to be coming to and end. Still major work going on across the road to the beach but on the whole PR seems to at last being Finished. Pavement repairs are now taken place from the top of the hill downwards. Not before time...

Now, Monroes was the Number 1 bar. in its original position opposite Yates.
It was always full, that busy if you wanted a certain position you had to get there early. They competed with Yates & both did very well, & they helped each other too. I remember years ago when the Garda began enforcing the max. noise regs at the midnight hour, when both bars had look-outs posted, to great affect, they were the good old days, now its a lost its magic appeal, & a lot of the old faces are not seen any more.
