Where to stay in pr

Can anyone help me...just had a chat with my Dad, and he has just told me that he woul like to come out to Puerto Rico with me and my daughter in Sept. only prob is that we normally go self catering and he likes hotels....can anyone suggest a good hotel in pr that wont breakthe bank. He has said for years that he would go to the canaries one day, and looks like 2009 he is going to do it, although he is 87 he acts like he is 20 years younger and dont look 87 considering that he is still driving coaches full time for a living. so if anyone out there can help out i would be very grateful, he also likes a good drink and is up for must things, if that helps, thanks in advance.:fatgrin:

Not breaking the bank is a difficult one! The Marina Suites is the obvious choice and the RIU.

Then there is the Riosol and the Puerto Azul (although not everyone will agree, has got some bad reports lately).
