Hello!

I was in PDI in November last year, and one thing noticed was that there was mostly people from the UK. Is Gran Ganaria and PDI in general a very popular holyday destination for people from the UK? Is Gran Canaria holyday a "legend" (if you understand what I mean)... ?

I'm from Finland, and I know that Gran Canaria is very very popular holyday destination in Finland. Many Finns usually travel to the "south", just to get drunk and to stupid things:banana: .But I didn't meet so many Finns there, mostly english and irish folks. So is Gran Ganaria and PDI a popular destination to get drunk? :p If I would ques it is :grouphug:

Well, for me Gran Canaria was great! Irish bars and disco! Now I just have to get used to "our own" wanna be Irish Bars in Finland.

was staying in puerto rico at the start of february this year and it seemed to be the opposite.
the majority of people staying there then were scandinavians.
the islands change at differant times of year when differant nationalities seem to go on holiday more.

The hotel we stay at is very much multi-national; Germans; Dutch; Swedes; French and Irish. Until recently we used to be the only Brits staying at the hotel. Now, however, I see that Airtours are offering packages.

Depends on what time of the year you go. Summer seems to be "Brit" season, and witer "Scandi" season.
Mind you if we got winters like you do, I'd want to spend them in GC!!
