Driving Over

Hi, we are planning to drive from the midlands to Gran Canaria, has anyone done the journey and can anyone give us any tips or information that could be useful, really would appreciate any feedback, cheers.

Tip: Stop at Cadiz and get a Ferry. Why do you want to drive over?

Cadiz to Gc is a long trip and expensive if its just for a holiday.
If its to bring everything over to move here, then thats not so bad but think hard about living here with a Brit registered car.

My hubby's doing that crossing to move our stuff when we move over there in may Yipee, as Mary says it is a long expensive crossing it takes a day and a half from Cadiz to Las palmas at a cost of roughly £900 which isn't cheap if you were only going for your hols.
