hi absolutly desperate for some sun . seen great deal for balcon del mar what is it like ? we a couple in very very late forties! hate to end up with 18-30 crowd !! also what chance of finding sun at end of feb?

You'll be hard pushed find the 18-30 gang at the end of Feb, weather very hit n miss at this time of the year but I'de go for it, more chance of good weather than bad !!!!

We had a look round this complex at the end of last year as we were staying next door to it and it looked lovely. Nice big balconies, quiet pool area, very clean complex, nice pool bar (we had to have a beer purely for research purposes) - I would happily stay there.

This is in the Lanzarote section - is there a Balcon del Mar there or did you mean Gran Canaria

and the weather at the mo' is lovely - bit chilly out of the sun and in the evenings but gorgeous the rest of the time

Its a great place in a queit part of town 18-30@s have been very quiet on the island and they only start in the summer definately nothere anyway, the pool bar is great and the hill don to the harbour is a killer on the way back but there are loads of bars to have a swift one , behind the complex is CC Montana Tropical where there is Marios and a few other bars , i have stayed next door at the flora and no probs at all , a member on here has stayed here last yeara nd asked me advice , i will pm his name so you can send a pm to him abaout it
