Hi everyone - I was just hoping to pick your collective brains.
I perform in a show called 'ABBA MIA - the musical', based on the film, 'Mamma Mia'. The show follows the story of the film, including all of the comedy and hit songs of Abba. It is performed by a cast of 4. You might even have seen this show in it's previous incarnation at Cafe LaBelle in the Yumbo. Well now due to the unprecedented audience reaction to this show, we are taking the show on tour. We already perform weekly at Mojo Deluxe, on the top floor of Holiday World, where the response has been overwhelming - there has never even been standing room available, so we are proving that this feel good show is the perfect antidote to the tough times many bars and venues are experiencing.
But - I'm fairly new to the island, and could do with some advice about what other kinds of venues there are that might take a fairly large scale show like this. Has anyone seen a large show at a venue that they'd be willing to share with me?
