2nd Best / other Holiday Destinations

I enjoy Gran Canaria for my March and sometimes Sept - breaks
In between we like to try a new place each year

Last year was first time to Turkey ( Gumbet ) and what a brilliant holiday we had

for the following reasons ( in order of appreciation )

People :- Very very friendly
Food :- Ottoman cooking ( have to try local cuisine )
Hotels :- Excellent all had luxury relaxing areas with bean bags , swing hammocks etc
Beach :- Good with lot's of water sports and boat trips for all ages
Transport :- Had small buses that ran every 20min 24 hours a day

we went to marmaris, iit was a great holiday,i thought it would be all slimy men trying to chat all the women up,but it was nothing like that.the food was amazing,and all the staff inrestaurants and hotels were so welcoming and friendly,the only thing that put me off was the transfer time,around 2 and a half hours.weve been to all the other canary islands,my least favourite being tennereif,also tried majorca,algarve,but we always come back to gc
