On business lunch today, they had a story of a man who had booked an all inclusive holiday to Benidorm with Thomson. All inclusive ive normally found is breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks and ice cream for the kids.
Not in this poor mans experience, he had paid inline of similar rates for his holiday as was advertised for other all inclusive deals,he chose this hotel for its location to a friends who lives close by. When he got there to the hotel there was no restraunt onsite:blink:- just a bar and thats what the all inclusive related to, local drinks from the hotel bar. So he had to spend out again on food different to that as he had spent on his break.:dumbfounded:
When asked, Thompson said this is an all inclusive holiday. This is all inclusive with regard of what is on offer at this hotel as laid out in the brochure. The travel expert on working lunch said what theyve done is legal, not to take all inclusive at face value, its up to us to read the small print before we enter into a contract.
