Well I have a quandary... My hubby works for Woolies .
We have a holiday booked for March but have only paid the deposit so far and have a few weeks to decide if we pull out (and lose the deposit) or do as Mharie and her granny and "gie the cat a canary" , just blow the cash and go anyway?
:blue: Help!!!!!!!!!

Sunshine Girl.....firstly, sorry to hear about your husbands workplace probs......I would go for the holiday if you are financially able to, especially in light of the situation as you need something to look ahead to and look forward to.

If however you feel it may stretch you too far then I would say pull out of it, but only if you really have to! It's times like this you need your hols (speaking from personal experiences!)

ALL THE VERY, VERY BEST TO YOU AND YOUR HUBBY.X:wub:

go on the holiday anyway whatever will happen will happen if its bad news you'll need a holiday and it will give you a clear head and give you both some time away from it all and be recharged

Thanks all...that's my first instinct too ...just have to persuade the other half, understandably he's a bit down in the dumps I also feel we need to have it to look forward to. I am always counting down the weeks. :boozy:

It would help if we knew more,,,like when will he stop work...will he get paid...We know as much as the rest of the country knows and thats from Sky news! So if he does a good job and sells stock quickly will he be unemployed quicker than the rest?
He's not home from work yet and left at 6.30 this morning!!so much for loyalty and I've tried telling him he's touched!

Aye, Hen... the wonder of good old Woolies.... it'll be some size of a charity shop then in the main streets... if it's not an Iceland.
Got your message,( Killie shop havin' a sale!! Well, well... that include the players too!!)... anyway, all the best to you and HE..... make the right decision for you, I know I've spoken to a lot in similar situations, and they've opted for a last blow out and struggle through when they get back home, baton the hatches till things improve, others phoning to say they won't be over.... as agony auntie on this morning said today, the only sure thing is that bad times finally have to come to an end... SO he might end up managing Killie, !!! Stay Sunny sunshine girl, all the best!x
