brand new rock & roll bar has just opened in the europa centre peurto rico formally sweeny todds ,went there last night & was very impressed by the very high standard of the place ,if you like 50s & 60s music this is definately the place to go,wish them all the best, its about time we had a family bar in centre:boozy: :boozy:

It really is a fantastic looking place, good rock 'n roll music.
Well done, something a bit different, for the Europa............ and the food, have a look at the menu, something a bit different there too. Well worth a try.......... or two......... mind you, the spare ribs might all be gone!

Was round last night (got a spare rib adiction I think!) Was rockin' at the time, Mark was up on his hin' en' giving it extremely big licks, as they say in Scotland, entertaining the crowds, singing 50/60's stuff, they were loving it. Looks like folk like to be entertained not only just karaoke, Angelo's musical talent will add that extra touch to the place then, when he starts.
Lot of fun to be had there for you....

mary,angelo is a great entertainer,with a fabulous voice,he can sing anything,also,he is a very genuine bloke(very rare in pr.)
the food is typical diner style,ie.ribs,kentucky style chicken,burgers,hot dogs,dips etc,and very good. john.

Have to agree with everyone else´s comments regarding Angelo. He is a fantastic entertainer/singer & kareoke host and has been a great addition to Buddy Holly´s.

Just adding to Jonjboy´s comments about the menu, Buddy´s also serve pizza, salads, nachos, popcorn chicken etc as well as a wide variety of texas southern-fried chicken, burgers and dogs. They also do fantastic thick & creamy shakes! Get yourself down there for some great food and a fantastic evening!!

Buddies Diner is a fun place and as Viv says does quite a variety of food too, which is of good quality.

STILL OLD FASHION BUT I KNOW BUT I LOOK AT THIS WAY IF THE COMPUTER PACKS IN YOU LOST THE LOT IF A DISC FAIL YOU HAVE MANY OTHERS TO CARRY THE NIGHT THROUGH.

the reason i asked is i have my fav little numbers on a memory stick which as you know is handy if any establishment does not have your particular song and they are using cdg files bingo you are in luck
sometimes you may go up for a song on cdg disc and find it to be a different version and wrong key wallop what a moment where do you hide.
im bad enough without sounding any worse.
looks like my good friend askimref is going to reach buddys before us so great he is going to send some photos of yourself and the bar to get me started.

Hi Puerto Rico.Really glad to see that Angelo is back in regular work,as he is the best Karaoke man and singer on the island i just couldn't understand why it's taken so long:angry: .I guess his new bosses knew what they were doing when they grabbed him when they opened Buddy hollies .If anyone can get a bar established Angelo is the man,like i said before his singing is amazing ,so it really doesn't matter if there isn't any singers because Angelo can sing all night.I must ask you Angelo is Eddie back:kma: ,the write ups on the bar doesn't sound like its that sort of place, as it's a 50's and 60's bar ,some how i don't think Eddie would fit in,what a shame as i used to enjoy the laugh .I will be booking my holidays soon:cool: and will defo be coming to see you Angelo in Buddy Hollies,good luck and keep singing.:have-fun:

I have seen the Buddy Hollies web site and WOW !!! the transformation is ace,i cant wait to come over !!! and what did i spot on one of the pitures????Mr.Eddie Grant making an appearance:banana: .
Sorry if i upset any other singers wth my comment about Angelo being the best Singer on the Island,but all i can say is: there could be others out there? but i haven't found them:ph34r: .

Just returned from P R after a week, It was very quit ( but it was Feb I suppose ) called in Buddy’s a few times to see Angelo, who was as brilliant as ever and working hard to make it ROCK it was nice to see other oldies like me coming in and dancing ( the jive ) I think when things pick up Buddy’s will be the place to be, takes me back to the old days.
Looking forward to going there in June.

I was in P R in February this year, The Europa Center was a bit quiet, seen Angelo a few times in the Buddy Hollies Diner. ( GREAT BAR )
Due back in June and was wondering has any one been in Buddy’s lately and is Angelo still hosting a great night. Can’t wait to get back
