ive got ( or santa got me) an all singing all dancing new fangled digital camera, fujipix or something like that.

What i hope some one can tell me is will it or the xsd card that slots into it be affected by the scanner at the airport, ie will it corrupt digital images that have been stored? i intend to carry it in my hand luggage.

Any advice for some of you photo buffs out there ?

hi hyram
never had a problem yet more chance of losing your pics by having your camera stolen than by the xray equipment

I've never had any problems with my digital camera.

I've worked as a counter cashier (or what it is called) at a supermarket. A customer once told me not to scan the price of the videotape, as it would cause it not to work. I'm not really convinced that this is posssible.. But it makes you concider other scanning/exray effects. So I can surely understand why you'd like to know this - especially when it is about the beautiful fun memories from a lovely holiday!

Absolutely no problem at all Mate. I used to worry about this very same thing, losing all the holiday memories. That WILL NOT happen.:nodding:
