Just got back from our latest 2 weeks of sloth and gluttony.
We eat out every night, and generally have few complaints.

HOWEVER,
There is a recently opened place on the lower level of the Europa center called El Molino Palace.

As Brasero was closed, and Bistro Frere full, we thought we'd give it a try.

The place looks very good, and the boss is more than friendly - but that's as far as it goes!

The grilled mussels starter were microwaved to death, and resembled sliced squash balls, and the so-called fillet steak, well what can I say.

Supposedly cooked rare, it resembled a small sun dried cowpat, and smelt of a lavatory used exclusively by the terminally incontinent.
We can only assume that the "chef" - lol - had found some poor cow's great grandparents somewhere in an Argentian backwater and decided it would be a good idea to ride it back to his new restaurant before putting it out of it's misery and serving it to his gullible customers.

To add insult to injury they then tried to charge us for a €20 bottle of wine that we didn't order.

Needless to say we were not impressed!!!

AVOID THIS SO CALLED RESTAURANT AT ALL COSTS. :veryangry:

Hi Wullie,

The aforementioned dysentry vendor is on the lower level of Eurora, same side as Turbo and the Cocktail Shaker, between the gift shop and the chineese buffet.
But fear not, Brasero is still just as good, it's just that they're so busy they've take to closing every other saturday.

Regards,
John + Emma

Thanks for the warning. I know where it is now, last year it was an empty space. The chineese buffet was the worst we've had in the Europa. We tend to stick with the tried and trusted ie Bistro Frere, Piccasso's, and we'll try el Brasero this year. A bit sad i know but better than waste good money on :p Cheers John.
