Amadores Beach...whats going on?

Just had a check of the webcam and there is a load of lorrys on the beach digging up the sand:confused: .I remember them doing something like this last year when the weather was not so good.Does anyone know what's going on and how long it will last.I was hoping to be on the beach Sunday but i dont fancy lying next to a load of trucks and tractors:sadguy:

There was a very high tide the other day, all the sun beds had been moved away as a precaution, Having seen the height and strength of the tide on the webcam, it looks as if they are replacing sand that was either washed away or moved.
