Has anyone stayed at the above apartments?
We have never done S.C. before and don't want to end up somewhere gross as our first experience.
Our main priority is that they are clean with good facilities.
A nice sunny pool area is always nice, or maybe a sunny terrace!
Also it says they are close to the Faro 2 shopping centre, is this true and is that a good thing?
Does anyone know what the maid and towel service is? Is there a pool towel service? Is there a kettle and a toaster?

Sorry lots of questions, however lots of worries!

If we are looking for too much in this accommodation can anyone point me in the direction of accommodation which would suit us. (Couple 30's)

Cheers Conway

Vista Golf is indeed just a very short stroll away from Faro 2. Maspalomas is a very peaceful area with little noise, however all your nightlife can be found a taxi ride away (4 euros) up in P.D.I. Faro 2 contains an array of bars/restaurants and shops for all your basic needs. Although I have'nt stayed in this complex I have stayed in the area many times. You would be exremely unlucky to end up with bad accomodation in this area and your bungalow will contain all your needs to make tea/coffee, meals etc, also full maid service with regular change of towels etc.
If you use the Yahoo search engine and type in Vista Golf Maspalomas you can troll through the various descriptions of the complex provided by the many tour operators/agents who use them!!!

Thanks, for the info!

We've been to GC before we stayed in PDI in the GCPrincess. We would like to try SC and thought Maspalomas would be a less risky as far as leaving accommodation (belongings) unattended being SC.

Cheers again

Hopefully someone who has stayed in the accommodation can give me some info

Click on Gran canaria at the top of this page. That'll take you onto Owens site. Through that you should be able to get in contact with Owen on islascanariastours for the accomodation and taxi

Been trying to fnd out if these bungalows have air con ? or a ceiling fan, and if not is it safe to leave a window open in the bedroom at night to let some cool air in.

Hi all:thumb: This is my first post. I've only just stumbled across your excellent site and I am going to the Vista Golf Bungalows tomorrow!

Like Flump back in June, I was wondering if the reception will be open for our key collection when we arrive at approx 10.30pm. Also if we will be able to organise a kettle and toaster for the morning, as my 2 boys (just have to) start the day with tea and toast!

We will be taking a taxi from the airport and an idea of approx. cost would be really helpful.

Thanks :thumb:

Sorry i never got back to you,i have been in America on a buisness trip.
Reception is open 24/7,there is always somebody there to help, but you will only be able to get your toaster & kettle the following morning as you might have gathered by now.As for taxi cost i'm not sure as i booked my airport transfer through owens fantastic service.
I assume your back in Ireland now,so i hope you had a great time in GC as i did.
