Just brought a tiny DAB from tesco, would it be worth taking to PR in a couple of weeks?

Radio waves travel in straight lines and dont pass through rock , which is why in mountainace regions radio reception is poor. Digital radio requires good signal quality , so being in a valley , PR is radio unfreindly. Oh and as far as I know , no station in GC is transmitting a digital signal anyway. So best leave the new toy at home ( dont want to get sand in it )

I bought a world band radio to take to PR a couple of years back and couldnt get a sausage out of it. I just presumed this was because it was a cheap one, but this probably explains it.

we listened to the radio on big tonys wee radio in may at the riu got a station from tenerife but then you dont have mountains or rocks blocking the reception at the riu.

pity he is on vacation at the moment he would explain but where you are going steve agree with what dan says as that big peak to the side will stop tenerife reception sure there is a radio reception thread on here by tony somewhere.
