please please can anyone tell me the price for the cable car to the top of mount teide.
we are coming to tenerife next week and would love to know some prices for places to visit.

Hi there, I can't tell you the price, but you do need to realise the cable car doen't go right to the top of the crater, it stops a couple of hundred metres short. I think to go to the top nowadays you need permission. I went to the top in 1976 (age showing) and the views were stunning.

Email here teide@oapn.mma.es (teide@oapn.mma.es) to obtain a permit to walk to the top. They limit the numbers, so early application is advisable. No cost involved for the permit.
Seriously consider Loro Parque, you will be able to get a package deal from the Southern resorts that will generally not exceed the entrance charge of €28.....Great day out (my opinion)
