hola & Merry x-mas to everyone. I arrive back on the island for 2 weeks on the 27th, can anyone recommend places to go with the family on new years eve. ( 2 adults 3 kids ) we are staying in PDI but we will have a vehicle, something like fireworks, parades, live music, dancing in the streets? etc. I know people are busy but any help would be appreciated. I`m glad the site is up and running again well done Owen.A Thanks in advance of a reply. ADIOS. Paul & the clan. :santa:

I understand the fireworks on new years eve near the Yumbo centre are to be seen to be believed.

I agree with Mary. The Yumbo centre is the place to be. The fireworks are fantastic. We prefer to be there.
Cafe La Belle has opened again under new ownership & it is very good but you will need to book seats for that. It's free & the drinks are fairly priced.:boozy:

sorry irisheyes we have not been near a computer for a few days. in general the weather has been fantastic, sometimes broken cloud, if its windy in pdi we go to puerto rico or aginiguinum( spelling ?? ) for some sun and shelter. the mountains are cool in more ways than one. i think it depends on how hardy you are to the cold, we have people from finland next door to us who are never out the pool, we are from scotland and we have been in once ( the sea is warmer for us ) i have not seen any rain in the last 8 days. adios :boozy:
