i AM GOING TO lANZAROTE FOR THE 1ST IN JUNE STAYING AT THE OASIS APARTMENTS PUERTO DEL CARMEN LOOKING FOR SOME INFO REGARDING ACCOMODATION + HOW FAR IN TO MAIN TOWN.

They are in a quiet area of PDC , on Calle Arpon,http://www.puertodelcarmen.com/img/di-mapa-C.jpg not sure about the accomodation but obviiously the reviuews wikll help posted above to get to the main town its a 15 minute stroll to the Atlantico centre where all the late night bars are , but there are countless bars before there , one good one is called The Place which is right on the seafront down a small side street (signposted at the main road) the old town is great for restaraunts and is a short inexpensive taxi ride , and for the best pizza try MARIOS in the Montana TRopical centre-0 just get a taxi , they will serve you half a pizza off the menu , which is great for a lunchtime snack ,
