work situation

i have lived in puerto rico, GC, for 7 years now and fancy a change of island. in a couple of weeks i will be flying over for a few days break and a good look round. is there much work about, is it a case of getting your face shown and getting to know a few locals. any help would be great. cheers

I've been in Tenerife a few years and its quiet over here as well. Work wise, depends what you want to do/your trade etc. but yeah, put your face about thats always the best way. Plenty of groundwork, patience and a decent lump of cash to be going on with.
