Anyone know anything about these apartments? Any info would be appreciated but I would particularly like to know how long it would take to walk to the main centre? is it a steep walk? is it quiet?

cheers

Nido de Aguila is located across the road from the Europa centre at the top of the hill. Don't know how long the walk down takes as it's taxi's or car for me !!!

Only a 5 min walk to europa centre, lots of bars and resteraunts there. To walk down to the main centre, proberbly around 30 mins id say, but a taxi only takes a few mins, and doesnt coat much.

hi mr lacoste

due to a few requests i have set them up online was trying to hold back to May to add more including the shortcut through to the europa lovely pint to be had here mate. nido at http://www.rab.c.fotopic.net/c876299.html
for rutters if you take the shortcut through the lane to europa then cut through to the back and down the stairs you are at the corner down by the babalu apts from there a very slippy 15-20 minutes to the main centro.

I stayed at the Nido last July and it was easy to walk to the centre and theres a taxi rank at the top to take u to the center at the bottom

What i say about these apartments is that they are split into two. numbered A and B. ie A1 A2 A3 ,B1 B2 B3 etc. B apartments are on the left and A are on the right. The reason i make this point is that the B apartments are next to the bar and they do play loud music sometimes all day and well into the night. The A apartments are much quieter. So if you want peace and quiet ask for a apartment beginning with A.

Just had a letter from Thomas Cook saying there is building works to refurbish the Reception/shop area ,Anyone know how disruptive it is and how much noise/dust is being created.

Bit late to change accomodation now though we fly out on the 21st

Hi we have just got back from puerto rico we stayed at the eden next door. I must say there didnt seem to be must work going on. The only work was the foot paths out side the eden and the nido were being replaced but i reckon most of that will be done by the time you get there. hope this helps

Shouldnt be a problem. The Nido have always been very protective of their guests during any refurbishment work. The reception is a wee bit away from most of the apartments so dust should not be an issue either.

I would stick with what you have. A great little complex in a great location.

Hi all, looking at the Nido, any comments on the apartments. Went there about 7 or 8 years ago and it was fine, but not been back since, always stay at Riosol. Cheers :)

Still the same as they were 7 years ago, but i think the shop and recepton were done up in the summer. I'd prefer to eat here than the Riosol...
