Does anyone know of really good AUTHENTIC Tapas Bars in either PDI or Maspalomas ? I know there are some good ones in Puerto Mogan but a bit fo a distance to go at night and then back to Maspalomas (where we're staying?)
Thanks

San Fernando/P.D.I. has quite a few lovely little authentic places. Capaco and Tango are names that come to mind. One of these is located right in front of San Fernando commercial centre, just on the corner of a small gulley!!! Also try strolling around all of this area. Another is in the Bellavista "comm" centre, the coffee served in these little independant outlets is just lovely as well. Several little "locals" bars also exist just up the street from the Bellavista centre too, all sell tasty local food !!!!!!

Hi ALAN Can recommend Gapoco in San fernando, it was a few years ago we went there last, a small restuarant but very nice. Also EL GAUCHOS behind the church in PDI is a fab restuarant and the starters are very much like tapas, eg. dates wrapped in bacon, dates and cheese, mexican corn on the cob, canarian potato's etc to name but a few. Also if you are interested in italian there are two fab restuarants, MICHAEL ANGELOS in the FARO 2 cc and THE GRAND ITALIA on the Maspaomas beach.
