Several exist depending where you are and reception is very temperamental POWER F.M. is the most reliable!

Oasis reaches some parts as well, but is even more tempermental that Power.

Power Fm is based in 3 places Tenerife , Lanazgrotty and Gran Can . They claim coverage of 7 islands but suffer from landline problems to there transmitters quiet often . ( I am always ringing them when P R drops out , and they get it back quiet quickly ) Check out there web site www.powerfmradio.com (http://www.powerfmradio.com) . Whilst on the radio subject, does anyone know (accurately) what has happened to RADIO MASPALOMAS/HOLIDAY F.M. ????????

From what I understand , they were both "sub-letting" air time from local Canarian Radio stations , in the hope that they could cover the costs by selling adverts . Having listened to both , there was not that many adverts , so I guess they went under . A German station has taken over there slots at the moment.

We were in Puerto Rico from the 6th to the 13th Feb. I could not pick up any english speaking stations. We normaly pick up at least two or three.:sadguy:
