Elton John - Tenerife

Just bought my tickets to go and see Elton John in concert here in the Canary Islands!

He will be performing on Thursday 24th January, 2008 on the golf course at Costa Adeje Golf, Tenerife from 9pm.

General standing tickets are 35 euros each, standing tickets for the section in front of the stage are 95 euros each and for the selected seated areas, 120 euros each.

If Elton is doing his normal show it`s worth every penny you pay!!! ...hmmm I`m sad leaving GC 16.1.08 otherwise I would have been there too.

Read the show organisation was a total calamity with many best seat ticket holders failing to get to their seats. Also there was chaos with the traffic, generally a very poorly organised event, music may have been good though!!!

A few of the Tiff's guys went over for that concert, but we were away before they returned.

We thought the concert was fantastic. Four of us went with car on the Thursday morning from Agaete. Got upgraded on the hotel which was bonus no.1.
Reg was on stage at bang on 9pm and played for over 2 1/2 hours. Biggest bonus no.2 was that we took advantage of the total disorganisation at the entrance (dosey ticket checkers!!) and slipped into the area below the stage (we only had €35 tickets!). We watched the whole gig from the front line, no more than 20ft from the little piano man.
Getting out wasn't too bad as we didn't take the car to the gig, just walked down to the main road and waited for a taxi.
Nipped into Iceland too on the way back to stock up on some goodies (bonus no.3 !!).
All in all a great couple of days in Tenerife.
