Hi All,

I have been going to GC now for 10 years, love the place, primarily for the mountain biking (incredible interior btw).

Going for a more relaxed holiday this time, staying in Puerto Mogan, and we are looking for some good shopping spots. Going to go over empty handed and buy all clothes etc when we get there. I hear there is a new shopping area/centre in Maspalomas? Also, where is the best place to go in Las Palmas?

Check out our website from a few years ago, bit dated now!

For the real shopping experience go take a look at El Muelle Centre, Los Arenas Centre or the shopping street Mayor de Triana. Prices are mostly like in UK I suspect but there is something new to look at. You CAN find some very cheap clothes and shoes there if you know how to look for it, though. (I'm an expert at that  )
For the VERY cheap places go down Thomas Miller street by the Corte d'Ingles Centre and check out the small shops there and even better down the small streets going from Thomas Miller street.

Corte d'Ingles is expensive but if you like shopping it will be a beautiful experience.

The shopping area you are talking about, i think, is around El Faro. various perfume shops and fashion shops.

Another place to look at which might be easier to get to is The Atlantico centre in vecindario. has all the big chains and a good supermarket - carrefor.

If you wish to go to Atlantico, Bus No 1 will take you all the way from Puerto Mogan to within 200 metres of Atlantico.
