Hello again!
Just to remind you that when you hire a car on your holiday, that you carry your passport and driving licence with you at all times(it saves a lot of hassle if you get stopped by the police!)
Also be careful when driving as when i was driving though the valley of Mogan this morning rather early i couldn't belive how dangerous the driving was! there were various individuals driving like "Bodie and Doyle"!!!

Please also make sure that you drive on the "correct" side of the road at all times, only i have just seen a tourist driving towards me on the wrong side of the road which nearly ended up in a full on collision! luckily my "Jason Stratham"(Transporter 2) advanced driving skills got me out of the whole event with an audience.

Roundabouts are always a problem. remember to go round anti clockwise - round to the right.
I've seen so many people approach the roundabout in the right lane but then try and go left.
If you are driving, keep your body in the middle of the road - well it helps me

I have a problem getting in the "correct" side of the car! How many times have I got in to drive a car and found I have no steering wheel?

I do hope Marcus that you had both hands on the steering wheel at the time as this tourist was coming towards you as it would be difficult typing and driving at the same time

Admitedly it was a few years ago......but.

There I was driving along minding my own business when from nowhere out popped an officer of the law with a raised hand.....STOP says he, so I pulled over (Thankfully I had ALL the documentation with me), as I wound down my window (letting all the cold air out) I broke out into a sweat. No I hadnt done anything wrong....his gun practically hit me on the nose, well I didnt understand a word he said, I smiled apologeticaly, gave him my documents and shrugged my shoulders. I think he said OK and waved me off..........about 200mtrs down the road, hidden by shrub, was another one, the difference with this one was that he was sat behind the biggest machine gun I had ever seen........so guys (and ladies) if you get waved down, for gods sake stop....coz if you dont stop for the first guy you surely will for the second.:banghead:
