Hi there. To be honest if the weather is not so good there is not at lot to do. We are going again in March and this year we a taking on of those mini dvd players and a fully loaded ipod. Last years weather was the worst i've ever known, you can put up with the odd day but the whole two weeks was awful. If that was my first visit to Gran Canaria i'd doubt i'd ever go back again but were hoping it will be back to it's brilliant sunny best this year.Lucky i had a copy of the excellent Da Vinci Code given to me last year. The selection of books and magazines is pretty poor in the resort so don't forget to take a good book or two...fingers crossed for sunshine :nodding:

We just got back, fortunately we had good weather however one mornings activities were delayed for an hour whilst the heavens reminded us what they had. We were struggling to think of things to do if it kept up.
Sioux City is in our opinion a fantastic place to see but we found it best to go about midday, catch the live shows and see the town in between otherwise you find it hard to stretch the day out.
Another must is Palmitos Park but again only if the weather is good.
Otherwise it's bars TV and indoor arcades
Hope the sun shines on you all the way:nodding:

Thanks to evryone who got back to me so it seems a good book a packed mp3 player and even a mini dvd are on the menu thank the lord i have all three. I was in P.D.I. last year at the same time and the weather was a bit hit and miss and i agree there is not alot to do when the weather is bad thats why i asked this question. Looks like it could be a couple of daily sessions in Casa Juan again
