Hi

We are hoping to stay in Meloneras in December, can anyone reccommend any nice restaurants etc please. We will have a 2.5 year old with us so family friendly would be even better! Also, some nice cocktail bars where u can sit outside and watch the world go by??

Thank you
Leah

Hi Lady Leah

You will not be dissappointed with your chosen destination, Meloneras has everything you mentioned you like to do.

All of the resturants down on the sea front are really nice, we especially enjoyed Grand Italia and Casa Lola. Up on the main street we enjoyed Banderos where you can have a really nice lunch, drinks and watch the world go by. All of the restaurants have child seats and make the family very welcome.

The shops in both areas are very good offering reasonable prices for designer things.

I would also recommend the Dinner Show at the Black and Red Casino, Vegas Legends, which again is family friendly.

I have been there 3 times since April so if you have any further questions just let me know.

I will be going on the 29th December and I can't wait.

Have a great time :have-fun: :thumb:

Yes - I recommend Grand Italia - lovely restaurant where they put a small fire lighter on the plates! In December it can get a bit chilly in the evening (by GC standards) but they put the patio heaters on. The ice creams & crepes are superb. Great for families indoors - the only problem is that they allow smokers outside as it is (technically) in the open air , so not ideal for kids.
