Hey Blondane,

I have stayed at the Buenos Aires for two years and going to stay there this January as well - it is indeed a very good hotel. Fingers crossed for some better weather - it's snowing here in Denmark!

Just thought I'd rub it in: Going to Playa del Ingles tomorrow, Hotel Buenos Aires - only for a week, but what a difference from sub zero temperatures here in Copenhagen!

The hotel is ideal if you like the 'Hard Rock Cafe' which is now in the basement. When we walked by in December it looked really nice :)

They now have a Pink Cadillac suspended from the wall. We went in there in December for a meal - but I couldn't do it too often I would put on too much weight!!!

Im staying here with my boyfriend for 2 weeks starting 12th August. Cant wait!!
Does anyone have anymore info as to whats nearby? I have stayed in pdi before but im confused as to where the hotel actually is cos iv never been to the yumbo centre before. I usually stay near where the Gran Canaria Princess is.
Ive also been told that they dont do late check out, this will be difficult as our flight is not till 2am!!! Ah well never mind!!
Any info at all about the hotel would be great thanx!

Donīt worry about the check out. You can spend the last hours by the pool. This is allowed and everyone does it.
If you go straight ahead from the enterence by the crossing and down that street and then the 2.street to your left and continue for a bit you will get to the Kasbah centre - so you are not far from where you have probably been before. If you go to the right at the crossing instead and walk to the end of this street you will find the beach.
There is a centre situated in the crossing where there is a really great british restaurant - they do fantastic chips! San Fernando is not far either if you need some gran canarian culture, foods and very good prices:have-fun:

Sometimes on the day you book in ( you can request to keep your room) (on day of flight back home for a while longer for a little extra payment of course,) it depends if they have the room booked up straight after you or not. I did that once at the ros lara in PR when my flight was going out at midnight, for 16 euros they let me keep the room until 8 oclock that night.
instead of having to be out of it by 12am that day, Its worth a try, (But you must request this as you arrive) or very early the next morning and be prepared to pay the fee they charge for this. ITS WORTH IT:

Hi Chris, we have stayed there 3 times must be one of the best places to stay.
Does anybody remember the barman who was there for years, his name was Manwell. Nobody there seems to like you asking about him. It would be nice to know where he is now.
