Tried the new Greek restaurant (by the harbour) just over a week ago and found it to be very good authentic greek food, if you like that sort of thing its tops, we actualy went twice and it was just as good as the first time, as i got my favorite a Gyros but it is only on the childrens menue at 4€ which is a bargain and there is enough for a grown up.
Highly Recommended will be going again in June.

Just thought I would add to this - we went the other night to try this. The food was top notch and the place was packed when others were only half full. Really attentive service and at the end of the meal instead of the usual honey rum they gave us free cappucinos (nice touch and didn´t take the lining off the throat like honey rum!).
Would definately recommend.

Just wanted to add my comments after another 2 visits to the Rhodos Palace during our stay. The food and service at the restaurant are top notch.
We had the warm Dolmades and Beer Battered Feta with tzatziki to start. On both occassions I had the chicken stuffed with spinich and feta which came on a bed of lovely veg and also with the usual jacket/fries or rice. Mr C had the moussaka on first trip which he said was fab and on the second visit had the shoulder of lamb which outfaced him.
We couldn't manage deserts on either occassion but 2 courses plus wine/water came to just over 50 euros.
They also give you a free coffee at the end of the meal but we were so stuffed we couldn't even manage that. Mr C (as always) sneaked in for a hug and kiss from the waitress as we left.
If you haven't tried it before it is well worth a visit.

and if you order taramasolata (or whatever) ask them for pitta bread. They make it to order and it is the best pitta I have ever had

We went here when we were over in October and I can honestly say it was one of the nicest meals I have ever had, and I agree with the others about the lovely friendly service. I highly recommend it and will definitely be going back at least twice when we're over in June!
Mmmmm just thinking about it is making my mouth water! :tinysmile_fatgrin_t

Was absolutely gutted to discover that they were closed for the duration of our holiday, so we didn't get to go this time around. They re-open on 14th July for anyone who's interested.
