What is the best way? I'm currently considering the Lanzarote-Tenerife route but it is well applicable to any other direction. I found Binter Canarias but they look slightly overpriced. Any other transportation? And on binternet.com, what would be a normal price for such a trip (one-way)? Maybe I was just looking for a bad period (Christmas) and it's generally quite affordable? And what about ferries? Do they connect all islands? I used only Tenerife-Gomera some time ago but I know there are other routes too, not sure if they do cover all the islands. Cheers!

Fred olsen and Armas are the ferry companies. You can get across all the islands this way. Flying is more expensive but much quicker. No other companies fly inter island

Why do we the tourists, the all islands main economy get descriminated against with Binter's pricing stucture. After all a plane seat is a plane seat. Yes I appreciate many locals commute to work across the islands, but I find their prices so unfair !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Binter prices are not very nice indeed. And what would be an average ferry ticket from Lanzarote to Tenerife if there's a direct connection? Cheers!

Hi,
I don't know if it makes sense to continue in this thread/forum as we will actually travel to Tenerife from Gran Canaria. Anyway, I think the date is 27 December and I almost agreed that flights are a no go. So we'll have to go by ferry which is actually quite interesting. But the prices seem not so interesting. For one person, Fred Olsen gives a quote for EUR 42.90 one way while Armas offers it for just EUR 21.75. Transmediterranea site fails to open at all. Can you please clarify what is the best fare we can expect on a Gran Canaria - Tenerife ferry route?
