I'll try and keep this one short before I get slagged off for my books - YOU know who I'm talking about!! ;)

The Lanzarote North Tour and South Tour
Both are very much well worth doing!! Obviously, some parts are more interesting than others but I suppose it depends what floates your boat eh?

Do both if you can though - well worth it and on the whole very interesting and informative. You'll also get to see some amazing and beautiful things and sites. I won't ruin it for you by going into detail but both are a must!!

What to look out for - the Rep Linda on the South Tour - she's bonkers!! A total and utter control freak that will surely remind you of a schoolmistress! You WILL NOT be late back from any of the drop off points - you'll be way tooooooo scared to do so!

However, she's extremely knowledgable and as the day goes on you'll learn to appreaciate and respect her loads. Certainly knows her stuff.

On the North Tour - we had a lovely Rep who was a whole lot more laid back but unlike the South Tour she was repeating everything she said in German as we had German holidaymakers on the bus too. Not a problem though and she obviously worked very hard to keep everyone interested and informed!! Well done (Forgot your name - sorry)

FOOD
In the brochures etc they state that you'll get a three course lunch - you will but think about school dinners and Christmas nights out and you'll get a jest of the quality of the food. Yeah?

It's ok, don't get me wrong but it may not live up to expectations. Something worth considering is to claim that you are a vegi and you'll get an omelette and if you're lucky it'll be a Spanish Omelette.

The driver on the North and South tours for both was called Eugene - very careful and good driver and nothing to worry about when on his bus. Some hairy/scarey roads on both tours but that guy is top notch and knows both routes inside out! I expect he'll be a local.

Feurteventura Tour
Certainly worth doing but lacking substance and interest compared to either of the Lanzarote tours. Some outstanding scenery though the stop-off points are disappointing.

When you stop at the Aloe Vera factory - don't get sucked into their chat - remember you're a captive audience and you'll get better and certainly cheaper Aloe Vera products elsewhere!!

Anyway, hope it helps somebody.

All the best.

Sandy
