OOPPSS SORRY just noticed this

OK, the Mirador is very well placed overlooking Amardores , and as far as i am aware every room has a view of the beach , well mine did

the rooms are massive with all modcons in the kitchen and a breakfast bar , main seating for 5 people and coffee table and tv in main sitting area , the TV only gets the normal bog standard tv and CNN which was ok for me but is PPV

the bathroom is huge with a massive shower and very large area with the sink and huge mirror with shaver points next to it and obviously WC and bidet

all towels are changed daily and the maids were very efficient and good

the bedroom i had a one bed apt is massive as well and also has its own balcony as well as the one of the main sitting area , the one of the bedroom is not very big and you cant fit tables chairs on but the main one is very big and has full chairs and table

the wardrobe is too be honest the BIGGEST,really MASSIVE wardrobe i have ever seen in any apartment i have stayed in it is massive and the safe is located in their as well

there is a sideboard with drawers as well with a mirror above that

as for the complex it has a pool bar which serves snacks and is set slightly raised above the pool area which is massive , there are a lot of sunbeds but the old problem of towels happens , a lot where put out at 3 in the morning and this got some pissed off , but the management sorted it out

there is a restaraunt which serves brekkie which is very good and then all lunch meals are at the pool bar normal fare burgers , salads etc and then the main one does evening meals i didnt have a evening meal but was told it was very good for the price

there is a small shop which has everyday goods and british papers BUT i found that the one at Gran Amadors was better stocked and used that a lot

there is a main bar which has entertainment but its wasnt too good and lots of people go to the centres in Rico instead and i am sure that people can go to the Scots Corner bar in the Gran Amadores complex as there seemed to be a lot of Mirador guests there at times , they also do food and i heard that it was better but nevr tried it

there is internet access in the reception and a room for cases on departure , and the reception will call a taxi for you at no charge

the only problem is the reception couldnt change TC's so you had to go to the Gran Amadores but that was no problem , once they knew me they didnt insist on my passport so i locked that up

there is a public phone outside but you ave one in your room and a garage underneath if you hire a car

the bars of amadores are 3 mins walk away and it costs hardly anything to get to RICO but i used to go to Hencos Beach Bar and Mulligans when that was still there

only 1 problem is the complex is seperated into a lot of diferent blocks and is not very well signed , a lot me included got slighly lost on the first night trying to sort out where the apts were alcohol was a slight reason for that , and watch if you walk by the pool late at night when you have had too much they seem to put the sunbeds in teh way and you can get wet (well i did LOL)

but i would go back and i am sure you will enjoy it , there may be building work on the opposite hill but after 1 day you didnt notice it , but shut the doors to the balcony at night as they start early

anything else just ask but heres the website to help you http://www.miradordelatlantico.com/en/Inicio/

ps one thing i did notice but it might have been due to the time i was there , most of the clientele where scotish both here and next door at GA , that one i understand due to Seguro travel but it may have been that the scotish school holidays had started , no problem for me as most were very friendly just felt weird to be the only english person there and compared to most places i have been to it seemed to have a lot more rugrats there than anywhere else

i think they have 2 bedded apatments but have a look at the website or send them a email to find out , Mytravel/Direct deal with the apartments but looking at the website again it seems a lot cheaper doing the booking direct http://www.miradordelatlantico.com/en/Inicio/
